What is the folded lengh ? Can we buy without head ?

Folded it is 15.6". This is only sold as a kit, head and legs together.

how much weight will this tripod hold (a DSLR with a long lens?) how high is the maximum height?

aprox 58" and 8LBS is the max it says 8.8 on the tripod but i would only do 8

Does this tripod come w/its own carrying case?

The one I purchased came with a carrying case.
