Westinghouse 14,000 BTU Air Conditioner with Heat Mode, WiFi Enabled, Remote Controlled, Dehumidifier, 3-Speed Fan, Programmable Timer, Window Kit

I purchased this unit for a patio area that was enclosed with windows. This AC/heater delivers excellent cold air to this area. You will have to hook up the drain tube into a bucket or outside. So far no issues with the AC portion of the heater. I researched this unit before purchase and it is an excellent unit with several key features, to include WiFi.

This is an excellent product with 4 functions built into 1 unit. It runs very quietly, and it is an energy saver. It cools off and heats a room very quickly.

So far, I have to say I love the unit. I didn’t notice that it was a side window installation kit that came with it, but that’s on me. This unit kicks out some instant instantaneous cold, and it does it well. The only guy I really have is It’s kind of cumbersome, and my living arrangements are small, but anybody with bigger living arrangements this would be perfect. Still good for small arrangements, just have to do some rearranging. All in all, if you haven’t pulled the trigger on a cooling unit yet for the upcoming hot season, I highly suggest you choose Westinghouse. Buy American.!

It warms beautifully. It was a challenge to install the connections. I had to ask two experts to help. Once installed, though, it is functioning well, so far.It may need to be elevated so that the fluid can drain. I needed to purchase a metal table and furniture pads for drainage. Otherwise, the pan will have to frequently be emptied, about weekly.

I’ve owned Portable Ac’s before and this product is garbage! It is extremely loud, my 10 year old window unit is quieter than this one. This does not blow out the correct temperature you set it too, before it switching to fan mode for absolutely no reason. If you switch it back to cool it continuously runs on fan for at least 5 minutes before blowing cool air again. I have never had such a horrible ac, I figured that with this being brand new it would work so much better and I liked how much smaller it was compared to my old window unit and my older portable, it doesn’t compare at all. I would not buy this again and I’ve returned this one. I highly suggest to buy a different one. I’m just going to stay with my older window unit for my bedroom. I have 3 AC’s for my house, 2 window units and a portable, all of which are a couple years old and they still work better than this one does! Spare yourself the time and trouble by not purchasing this AC.

Living in Texas, the heat of summer is already here. Additionally, with the storms that have passed through my area, we have had loss of power twice. First, for only 3 hours and the second time for over six hours. Living near the Gulf of Mexico, hurricanes are always a threat. I have a portable generator (Champion) that can run my house except for the A/C. After researching various models and brands, I decided upon the Westinghouse 12,000 BTU floor A/C. I will use it to cool the rooms we are in during the day and if the outage stretches into the nighttime, move it into my bedroom.Easy to set up. I turned off my main A/C, and let it run for several hours. It cooled living room, dining room, and kitchen like a champ. While running, my wife and I were able to have conversation as the unit was very quiet.Remote control (comes with batteries) easy to use. I also downloaded the Westinghouse app and can control the unit with my smart phone.The unit has castors to roll it around from room to room. It is well-built and the instructions in the manual are easy to understand.I am very happy with my purchase.

Works very well, love the heat pump and the air, works with Alexa. Best thing I bought this year.

I would suggest you do not buy this air conditioner. The part that is in the window can come out. Also, the way they have made the tubing that connects to the window part should be flat on one side because it comes too close to the ledge of the window and therefore you struggle to put it to connect the tubing. Also, the tubing disconnects from the window part. Unfortunately I had the problems after a month of having the air conditioner so I could not return it. Very discouraging after spending so much money.
