Affordable with high quality sound
I have a couple of microphones from this company and they're very impressive, they sound like pro quality microphones, build quality seems decent enough I mean not the greatest build quality but decent build quality. Now you have to use a XLR cable to connect this to your interface or mixer, this is not a USB microphone so you do need a audio interface or something similar to use it. As far as the design it looks really nice, as far as value for the money it seems pretty hard to beat. You could spend more on some microphones that don't sound quite as good, I know a few voice actors who bought these because they think they sound better than some of the highest recommended budget starter mics for a voice acting. I picked them up because I reviewed microphones on youtube, I still need to review this one, I haven't got around to it yet but I have used it quite a few times since I got it and it's great, I connect it to my interface with the XLR cable and the bam, really good sound.

Looks like a counterfeit Mic but has its own sound
Off the bat, this microphone looks like an akg c414. Because of this, you may be tempted to write this off as a counterfeit microphone, but don't. While it is true this microphone only looks like it's name brand competitor and doesn't sound like it it also does not sound bad either which puts it in a league of its own.On the other hand, because it sounds good it makes you question why big name companies mark up the price for their products. This microphone makes it clear that you can get a good sound while not breaking the bank. On top of how the microphone sounds, the accessories that you get make purchasing this product even more worth the value for your money. As far as looks and build quality goes, like I said it looks like the name brand but it's not the name brand and the build quality isn't shabby either. This is an XLR microphone so remember the setup process along with the functionality process is a little more than just plugging this into your computer and going because you need an audio interface to be the bridge between your microphone and your computer other than that set up is really easy. Note to remember: This microphone is a cardioid microphone which means you speak into the front of the microphone not the back or side or the top. The front of the microphone is how this device functions

Defective item.
item is defective. I made sure that interface works with another mic. xlr cable is good, gain is good, the computer is good. When you speak there is buzz in the background and it is not because the gain is too high. I looked on the internet and it says mostly due to a bad capsule. Also completely cuts out when speaking a little loud or if there is a plosive. Disappointed.

If I could give 4.5 starts I would, what an awesome mic
This mic shoots way above its price. Great build, looks great, sounds amazing and the pop filter is awesome. I will dock it for only one thing and that's the self noise which is slightly high, definitely not bad enough that software could help it easily. The big question, is it a AKG C414, I would say not exactly but close. Does have a slight high end bump but still very warm.

22 Artists Agree
Used this mic for a recording session that featured 22 hip-hop artists (17 min+ posse cut cypher). I usually use a Warm Audio 47-jr or a Rode NT1-A. But after I initially got it and played around with it, I thought I'd give it a try on the track. Needless to say I blown away. I wish when I first got into recording they had mics like these at this price. This is an around workhorse that is perfect for vocals. I will say it has a bit of a brighter mid and high presence. It will require a little bit of EQ. But the raw vocal record is clean and the noise on this is impressively low.Even if you already have a couple of good mics, at this price it's worth adding to your toolbox. Well constructed, beautiful looking and just so good on the price-to-performance ratio you get. It can hang with mics significantly more expensive. If you're on the fence.... don't be. Do yourself a favor and buy it. You won't regret it.

Excellent mic and for the price AMAZING!
Today was mic test day so finally got around to trying the Bai Fei Li C-414 (labeled Proar on Amazon) and was amazed. Out of 7 mics tested the C-414 came out best, excellent sound quality and low self noise. A Bai Fei Li V47 and V7 came in second and third. The C-414 sound was very clean and as good as other mics costing 3X as much. I'm buying a 2nd one now and the price has even dropped slightly since I purchased the first one.

Excellent microphone regardless of price
I have a number of different studio-quality microphones, including an EV RE-20, a Rode NT1, and an SE4100, along with a couple of dozen dynamics, etc. This mic is as good as any of them, and has an excellent sound very well suited to my voice. To Proar if you are reading this: I hope you will begin selling the Beifei Li V5 mic under the Proar name.
