The LD06 is an upgrade to the older D600 dash cam. I have had two D600's for about a year, and I have been very pleased with them. It is a good product. However, the LD06 is even better. The main improvement is the higher resolution of the front-facing camera. The 5K resolution enables me to much more easily discern details from greater distances, including license plates. The image is very clear, and works well in day and night. Another improvement is in the power cable. The D600 is provided with a very long power cable, which connects the camera to the car's 12V system, but that cable is longer than what I need, and ends up with a wad of cable under my dash. The LD06 has a better solution, by using a conventional USB-C cable for power. The device is provided with a very long USB-C cable, but I purchased a shorter, 8 ft, cable, which is more appropriate for my installation. This avoids the wad of extra cable. The USB cable is only for power, so a more expensive signal-level cable is not required. There are a few other, more minor, improvements in the LD06 over the D600, but that's enough for now.

This is dash cam has great video quality and easy to use app. I’m giving 4 stars for the quality, easy app use and easy set up. My only qualm about this dash cam is its constant talking. You will hear the following prompts at random on your drive:Current video lockedEmergency video lockedVideo lockedThere are a few other prompts however it may be distracting especially during a phone call. I cannot figure out a way to turn that function off via the app.Overall, it’s a nice camera however if you are bothered by the constant robot voice like me, you may need to select a different camera.

I got this as an inexpensive camera for a second vehicle. It is actually quite good for the price point.It has a wide angle and takes very good quality video.Night imaging isn't as good as the $400 cameras but for under $90 (when I bought it) it's a real keeper. I see that it is twice that price now.Pros:- It works- Speed overlay- GPS route playback- USB C power- 5ghz wifi for faster transferCons:- 3 min max clip size - larger option would be better- Can't eliminate the "LINGDU" watermark

Picture quality is good, as long as there isn't trees around causing the bad compression to show it's weakness. The rear camera is better quality than I expected but not great. The parking monitor works good, get enough frames to be useful but not take up too much storage. The wifi is unusable, absolute garbage. Drops connection half the time you change video preview settings. Transfer speeds not that of what 5ghz should provide. I recommend only using it to change camera settings and use a SD reader to get your files. I also do not appreciate a forced logo watermark

Since this dash cam is not available in Germany, I ordered it from Amazon USA.The recordings work very well and can be played back perfectly on the cell phone. The connection should take place via WiFi, as the hands-free system does not work with Bluetooth. Finally, I can recommend it.
