Let there be LIGHT !
Super easy, fast to install. Well designed. Makes the dark engine bay brighten up like daylight! I installed one strip above the Battery and all the electrical connections, the second strip on the front curve of the hood so it shines down into the engine bay and not my eyes. This also placed it far enough forward that if it ever came loose, it wouldn't hit the fan. Otherwise, I'd recommend the two sides or back to avoid the fan area, just in case. Seems very well attached, so not expecting any issues. Switch works great, easy install.

The two led light strips are bright that come in a water proof protective sleeve with a good adhesive for mounting. The wiring on the end of led strips are long enough for a full size truck hood and the plug and play feature is nice also. The only thing wrong is the ground and hot wiring harness is not long enough to reach battery when your installing these lights on a full size truck hood. It needs to be at least a foot longer. Did not care for the pressure switch and wired mine up on a toggle instead. Over all it’s a good under hood light with a cheap price.

Let there be light!
This was something I didn't really know I needed Until I got it installed. I've been working on my car a lot recently, and decided having an automatic light was a good idea. I connected everything to test first ( as I always do) and I was impressed by the brightness. Once I figured out where I wanted to put it , I wanted to run the wiring in a way that you really didn't see it, for a more custom, seamless look. I had the main connection near my battery terminals, and it was a breeze to find somewhere i could attach it to metal. I didn't have a circular hole available for the outing as the directions stated. But, the posts for the hood pneumatic system did the trick, plus as the hood lowered, it set it right in a good place to make the button depress to turn off.IM guessing because I didn't install it as the directions said, it was just a hair shorter than it was sposed to be. My remedy for this, was to stick tape balls on the button, and then close the hood. When the hood closed, I then opened it back up, and the tape stuck to the inner part of the hood where the button was. I then added about four cut strips of Velcro, that added about half an inch to the inner hood. This was enough to depress the button when the hood was closed. I also Used some alcohol to clean the area where I was gonna attach it. I like it. I know that from now on, when I go to open my hood, Ill never have to worry about not being able to see. Nice.....

Great light for working on the engine bay.
Very easy to install. The lights themselves are quite bright. I like the single plunger switch that turns on the LEDs just by opening the hood.

Great lights, bad switch and adhesive.
The lights are great impressively bright and nullifies the need for a flashlight unless youre trying to really see in the nooks and crannies of the engine bay. The adhesive they come with is trash, I cleaned the surface with soap and water, dried it off and tried to stick them on, but they just fell off. The switch lasted about 2 months before i accidentally knocked the plastic piece off just moving my hand around. I ended up mounting them with this really awesome double sided tape from CZoffpro. When I broke the switch I wired it into a fuse box I'd added for accessories and wired it to an inline water proof switch i mounted under the hood. Despite the cheap switch and lame adhesive, I love the product for it's brightness.
