I find them comfortable to wear,especially when driving long distance and they can be washed by hand - I hope this answers your query.

Q: Can this be used for exercise?

The metal bar in the support isn't going to play well with training. So I'd avoid it for exercise.

Q: Will I be able to pick up and hold my 3 month old whilst wearing the brace?

Yes, you will. It has a metal, which restricts your ability to bend your hand but your ability to grip with your hand is not completly restricted. It feels old to start with but after a few days you get used to it and can do almost everything without any issues.

Q: Is this the best brand? The quality of how?

I know that this wrist support works very well and has been very effective in supporting my wrist while I suffer from tendonitis. I do not know whether this is the best brand as I have not tried all other wrist supports. I just know that this wrist support is very good and does the job for me.
