Decent for the money
I bought this razor to see how it compares to my much more expensive Dovo. The razor itself is decent. The steel is payable and conforms well to my face while shaving but still maintains a decent edge. Durability wise, it’s ok. It didn’t come with the best edge on it so I took it to a whetstone so dial it in. I’ve gotten 3 shaves with it and it seems ok. Not as sharp as it could be but definitely not bad.The strop sucks… It seems like more of a novelty than a functional honing tool. It’ll get you started but you’ll likely replace it as the leather quality isn’t great for honing a consistent edge.Overall this is an ok setup. I’ll likely use it as my travel razor so if it gets damaged or lost I won’t be heartbroken.Update:After a month of use, I’m feeling about the same with it. The steel isn’t super hard but gives a nice “cushioned” feel while in use. It’s decent enough as long as you’re consistent with a quality strop. I appreciate the shorter face length and aggressive point for detailing. For the money it’s hard to beat. It’s no Dovo or Boker but it’s not bad. It’s found its place as my travel razor. On a side note, the black coating does wear off easily. It doesn’t affect the quality of the shave. It just aesthetically isn’t perfect.

Decent razor to start
The blade is sharp but not sharp enough to use right out of the box. Blade quality feels decent, especially for the price.

Clean Easy Shave...even on a Husky
I rescued a dog who is terrified of normal fur trimmers, because of the noise. I bought this in a last ditch effort to get the matting out of his fur. It works like a dream. It seems to cause him zero discomfort and his incredibly thick fur basically fell of with how sharp this razor was. Stropping between sessions was required, but I fully expected that when I set out to shave an 80lb dog. Remarkably, the razor seems to also be completely unharmed and still gains and holds a very sharp edge. Not sure what I'm going to use it for now, but this product is really well made.

Not Sharp Enough
The blades don't get sharp enough no matter what. I had to press hard just to get a fair shave. This is for a close shave not for cutting my skin. Don't waste your money.

Not sharp.
I'm sure my technique needs a log of work but this is not even sharp enough to shave with. I stropped it for a while, that improved it a bit but still problematic. I looked at the edge under my carson microscope and found it to be quite rough - a bit of stropping wasn't going to cut it.So I pulled out my water stones and smoothed out the bevels. Started with the Shapton 1000 and 2000 then up to the King 6000. Stropped it about 120 times in total, starting with green polish on my Sharpal strop and finished on the super cheap strop it came with. Now much better, but still needs work. I'm going to keep this as a practice razor and buy something better. I'd suggest the only reason you consider purchasing this is for the same reason. The hinge on it is also poor quality, I'm sure it will wear out quickly. And get a better strop, this one is garbage.
