My best video
I have been making videos for several years now, many of which I have placed on YouTube. Because of the frustration of having my videos messed with, I chose a different platform which inspired me to go deeper into the art of video making. This Neewer Teleprompter took me to the next level, it is a fabulous piece of gear! I am currently in the editing process and things are going great. I really love this teleprompter.

Nunca pensé que esto me ayudaría tanto a crear contenido! Para las personas que están empezando y temen hablar frente a la cámara esto es perfecto

Overall very happy.
Great budget teleprompter if you have a larger tablet/monitor. Good enough for about a 10 foot viewing distance. Feels solid. The case is not of high quality, I wouldn't trust dropping it in the case. Great size though for a budget.

Very good quality
This is the larger version of the NEEWER X14PRO Teleprompter. This one seems seriously made for professional video recorders and DSLR‘s. But it is more than just a scaled up version of their previous teleprompters which are excellent on their own. This takes the precision and construction up to an entire new level. It helps to use the longer lens so you don’t get any vignetting from the mirror box. But this thing is absolutely flawless. And unlike the smaller models which are amazing on their own, this has a really high precision mount which lets you make very small adjustments on the camera so you can get it placed exactly where you want. This thing is as professional as you can get.I can see it can be a little confusing to somebody who’s never used a Teleprompter before. There’s a couple of things you need to make sure to do which is use a long lens so you don’t get the edges of the mirror. You need to back the camera up enough that it doesn’t catch reflections on the backside of the glass as well. This thing is a sturdy as I’ve ever seen anything made. The build quality is excellent. The performance is also excellent. I only have to go up about a half a stop in the camera to make up for the light loss. And the text is extremely visible. You could do some real professional shots with this. Looking straight into the camera you can read whatever you need to read a new one is the wiser. This one is designed for up to medium sized tablets.. It has a large 16 inch mirror which makes it really easy to read from. You can run the custom apps which you can get at the App Store or Google play. I noticed my remote control doesn’t work with my other Teleprompter app that I’m more familiar with but that’s OK I’ll just work with this one. Once you get it down though it’s not very complicated. You basically have an app that inverts your text and scroll automatically.Of course having another person shooting is extremely convenient but this has everything you need to do the set up as a single person. You set up the camera then you sit down and start reading and you can trigger the Teleprompter with the remote. It’s quite extraordinary when you think about it. This is the multi thousand dollar technology that TV studios have been using for decades and you can set it up for yourself at home now for a few hundred dollars. There’s the cost of the tablet of course but you can get cheap android tablets that you can use exclusively as a text feeder for this.I’m very impressed at the glass it is very clear and doesn’t distort my images in the camera at all.And of course I’m the type of person that always goes on about cases. This thing comes with a professional case above and beyond. It is a full-fledged hard shell case that can take a beating. You can’t really ask for more.

Buen precio
Es muy bueno, fácil de armar, pero podría mejorar la espuma de la maleta.

Useful device for content creators
My wife and I have a YouTube channel for which we create content both on location and at home. When we're filming videos at home where we're "talking to the camera," we've had to wing it or talk from our notes. This teleprompter has enabled us to take our game to the next level. The teleprompter is attached to a tripod (which you supply) it attaches with a Manfrotto quick release plate (501PL). The teleprompter itself includes a glass screen at a 45 degree angle, and a place to put a tablet (iPad or Android) that runs a free app that Neewer provides that provides the text image that is bounced through to the person doing the presentation. On the other side of the 45 degree glass is another camera mount (also Manfrotto quick release) where you mount your camera to capture an image through the glass. The presenter is looking through the text to the camera. The physics of the setup require that you use a wide angle lens. The camera mount and the lens hood/teleprompter are both adjustable so that there is no vignetting in your image. (More difficult to describe than it is to actually set up). On the side of the box that constitutes the teleprompter there are cold shoes left and right that allow you to attach accessories like microphones or video lights. Though I imagine most users wil use a larger COB light with a diffuser. The text that is being projected from the table onto the glass screen and bounced to the presenter can be controller with a small remote controller that works with Neewer's app to control scrolling speed and can even cycle through different pages, as well as stop and start the presentation. All in all, after you set it up, it works well. It comes in a metal "flight case" that minimizes the amount of assembly/disassembly that needs to be done between uses which is much appreciated. We're still tweaking our set up, and I will update my review after we've used it extensively. Since we do so much recording in our home studio, I imagine that we will leave it set up permanently, but we'll see. Recommended.
