St John's wort is very helpful for nerve pain. I have been experiencing sciatic nerve pain. Rubbing a small amout of this ointment on my lower back helps a lot.

Not for shingles
I purchased this salve to help relieve some of the issues with shingles…..didn’t come anywhere close to helping, but I kept it anyway…..might help with something else.
