It is the same steak and kidney pie I have been longing for for years since I came to the USA. Absolutely lovely !!

Super retro
These pies are a flashback for me to the 1960's. Are they good? They are pretty good but for me they are simply memories of my youth. With HP sauce I could eat these once a week - or more. It's hard to get a good steak and kidney pie in the USA so these fill a niche

33% compared to what?
Ok, so the seller was a vendor and has no control over the quality of the product. So I am not going to ding the seller on this. However, why would you sell something that could come back and bite you. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE! Do not buy this product unless you are a fan of pastry, because that's all it is. In a 425g pie, there are about two tablespoons of meat, and mostly gravy. You will be sorely disappointed with the quantity of filling. Honestly, I have no clue how they claim there is 33% more meat. Compared to what, no meat at all?

No meat . All gravy. Puff pastry never puffed up. Disgusting. Ordered two ... threw one away.

Buy it, you’ll like it.
Nice flavour, not as good as homemade, but what is. Pastry somewhat “flaky” and passable. All in all I will buy again. My niece in England buys Frey Bentos so that is somewhat of an endorsement.

no where like the real thing
I disliked the fact there was hardly any steak and NO kidneys....NONE. I love kidneys and was so disappointed to not find one in the pie. I received two and hope there may be kidneys in that one.

I love them and would love to buy them again. But Canada customs won't let them into the country now.. at least I have four of them.🥰

Sizes not clear, fabric good, poppers good, but as usual tiny.

Sadly not worth the money anymore!!
The taste is how I remember it from many years ago. The filling however...what filling? There's hardly any in it. Lots of gravy, but very little "steak&kidney". Not how I remember it at all!!Not the store's fault, they delivered super fast! Thank you!
