This is an amazing present.The size is a little smaller than thought, however it is well made and looks fabulous. When you push down on the mushrooms head it plays the mushroom tune and lights up. The light is not overpowering and great as a night light.Would definitely recommend for any Mario fan

Great little addition, looks good when lit up

My son loves this because of the sound and it's Mario related. But it's no use as a decent night light. Would be better to have a USB charging facility instead of batteries too as it has only lasted 6 nights with duracell batteries.

I got this as a present for my boyfriend who loves Mario and I am totally impressed! The light it gives out is better than I expected and it makes the mushroom growth sound like you head on the game itself! It makes the perfect present and is just the right size, so it doesn't take up too much room on a shelf.

We have two of these lamps, a red one and a green one. My sons love the sound effects, although they are a little annnoying after a while! Really cute fun items and also have a practical use as a nightlight.

Good product, my son loved it! He received it as a Christmas present and went to bed with it every night. It didn't last long after a couple of tumbles out of bed, it would either not turn on or not turn off. So I would suggest it's best used as a shelf light. It's a nice soft gentle glow, rather than a light - hence why my son slept with it close.It also has 2 loud 'click' noises when you push the top down, and is quite firm to do so at times.Overall, great product for decoration.
