I love this pitcher! I started infusing water and now my kiddos are hooked. It seems fairly sturdy but I will say I get nervous cleaning it because it seems like the glass is thin but so far so good. I’m very careful with it. Way better than plastic which we are working on using less of.

I got this to make sun tea and serve water for parties. So far, it has been very durable - I've accidentally bumped it up against the sink or the marble counter while filling or washing - cringed, and it has yet to crack! Also, it takes boiling water to make tea just fine. Love the modern, sleek design.I do wish that there was a way to completely seal the contents, though. Even if you rotate the lid, there's a gap that can allow for evaporation, or in theory small enough insects to get inside.

We love the pitcher! It’s very stylish and functional. We use it to store our iced coffee, and use it several times per day. That being said, it’s way more fragile than one might expect. My boyfriend cracked the base the other day, by bumping into the fridge shelf. He didn’t hit it very hard, and the whole bottom cracked and split.We like the pitcher enough that we re-ordered it, but buyer beware: it is not very thick glass. We’re being very careful this time around

I make chai tea from scratch every other day and the difference between a plastic container and glass is that there is no residue sticking to the container giving it a bad flavor even though it is freshly brewed because it sits there. I’m glad I bought it and I like the size.

The materials are quality and are conducive for making hot tea! Purchases 2 so that one can make the tea while I enjoy the cold ice tea. Seems thin, but surprisingly durable.

Large enough to hold a couple days worth of my juice. Very strong glass. It was dropped on ceramic tile and didn't break. The lid is air tight.

The pitcher worked well to ahy away from plastic. I used it for a bitnivwr a month and the metal lid separated. The issue wirh that defect is the bottom portion of the lid falls INTO the glass pitcher, making it relatively useless. The glass is too fragile to try to fish it put without creating glass shards. I was literally two days past the 30-day return window when this occurred. Amazon CS was unable to bypass the restricted return label.
