These are great! Very easily installed and it really does a great job! My pool has been so clean since installing these. I highly recommend this if you have an above ground pool and want to keep it super clean. Wish I would’ve found these sooner.

The skimmer was easy to install. Looks great. Fit perfectly.

It works great! I only wish I wouldn't have put right by the return port. When we upgraded pumps the force was so strong it blows leaves to the middle as they make their way toward the skimmer. Stilling does a great job and didn't long to install. Will purchase another for next summer.

install was not difficult. I used a sharpie to outline the hole to cut on the outside of the pool, and then used a cutting wheel on my Dremel tool to do the cut out. Only after I got the pool filled did I see that there is slow leakage on the outside of the pool. I suppose I should've expected that, in which case I should have sealed the side of the frame on the inside of the pool with a bead of caulk (clear-drying) all the way around. Tightening the screws helped a little, but I am afraid to do it too severely lest the plastic frame crack.The little Styrofoam block that helps the door flap stay upright when the pump is off unfortunately does not adhere properly and winds up Floating around. This should be engineered better.As for the vacuum attachment plate, it would be nicer if it had a 90° fitting, but I can probably find that at the hardware store.Another problem cropped up when I put a chlorine puck in the floatie and dropped it in. In no time at all, it was at the new skimmer port, blocking it as the pump tried to suck it in. I moved up to a 1.5 HP pump, and it wants to move a huge quantity of water. Any blockage of the skimmer reduces water flow, increasing the chance of the line starting to suck air, which is not OK, so out had to come the floatie. Might have to tether it to the side of the pool. This problem might be alleviated by giving the face of the skimmer port a small, protruding curve, allowing only one point of contact with the floatie.

We bought this and installed it on our 18' X 48" Bestway above ground pool. The directions to install were easy. We have had no leaking around the wall kit. We bought socks to put on the skimmer basket and it keeps my pool clean and clear. Highly recommended.

What a great upgrade over the hateful Intex skimmer. Fairly easy to install just need to be careful cutting the exact space for the skimmer and use clear silicone. Works great and keeps the pool much cleaner.

These skimmers are a must have for above ground pools!! In ground pools use them so why not? This is our 3rd pool and 2nd skimmer in 9 years.Keeps the debris out of the pump.The ease of it to vacuum is amazing and the adapter works like a champ.
