Just soaking works very well for fine grind bulgur. But for medium or coarse the soaking method takes a while, so giving it a simmer and then a soak speeds things along

Hello, for tabbouleh you should buy Fine Bulgur. TABBOULEH / BULGUR SALAD Preparation time is 4 minutes / cooking time is 15 minutes Ingredients 1 cup (160 g) Duru Fine Bulgur,2 cups hot water, 2 tsp (7g) salt, 2 coarsely chopped cherry tomatoes, 3-4 thinly sliced green onions, ¼ (20g) finely chopped parsley, 3 tbsp (30 g) lemon juice, 2 tbsp (3g) finely chopped mint, 1,5 tbsp (15 g) olive oil, pepper (optional). Preparation Pour boiling water and salt over bulgur to cover until water is absorbed. Then drain it well. In a big bowl, mix cherry tomatoes, green onions, parsley, lemon juice, mint, olive oil and pepper. Add bulgur to mixture and blend it. Serve with sliced lemons and lettuce leaves. Enjoy it.
