I am so glad that I bought this item. I was always putting a little ginger ale or whatever else was stale in my flowers to give them some sugar to feed them in the vase. This is SO much better. I find that the flowers last a much longer time and it is so convenient to have. I always keep a little packet open by the sink and put some in every time I change the water. I use small vases so one packet it good for three or four vases.

Works on fresh flowers

Our son buys me flowers often. They last much longer with powder from the store. Probably because I only used one packet, same as what we get with the flowers. My vase probably needs 2 so not as cost effective as i hoped.
