Epic piece of equipment [but don't use the bag]
Took it on my first solo tour, a little 400 mile venture, and it exceeded expectations. I had a nasty wreck into a 4 foot ditch at speed, and the Maya took the impact without so much as a dent. For perspective, the wreck was so bad that my rear bike wheel was bent into a banana shape. Here's a quick summary.Pros:pulls quietly and efficientlythe welds are sturdythe kickstand is AWESOMEdetachable hub is AWESOME -- left my gear at the campsite and rode around town without the dragsolid steel can be repaired easilyCons:provided bag is too big -- will pop horizontal side bars if filled with gearthe instructions are a nightmare -- even my local bike shop was perplexedprovided trailer tire is kinda cheapo, but it survived the tourOVERALL: If properly outfitted by the user, this trailer is better than the competition in price, long term durability, and convenience. Highly recommend. Good luck figuring out how to set it up for the first time.

Very misleading description.
Information was WRONG. Does NOT FIT rear bike frame to E-Bikes. I'm going to take a CHANCE I can get the trailer frame spread another full inch at a local car repair shop. If not a total loss. The REAR WHEEL is cheap, the hub had to be reassembled due to poor packing of the bearings. Had to purchase a higher grade TIRE and PUNCTURE RESISTANT inner tube. ALSO, if you do decide to purchase this trailer based on your bike, I HIGHLY recommend you purchase a heavy RUST PROOFING spray and finish. The paint job on this trailer is VERY POOR. I don't see how they justify (not very well made) the price of this trailer, crazy.

it's a nice trailer.
Zipper on top of bag ripped all the way off after 3 uses. I have to return entire unit - they do not provide a replacement bag. Other than the zipper issue with the bag, it's a nice trailer.

Poor Paint Job, Difficult to Use
Update: Trailer frame has rusted at the welds after just two exposures to rain. I live in the Sonora desert where humidity averages just 20% and it rarely rains. I will sell this trailer or donate it to a local coop.Original Review [now edited]I had to invest a few hours in prepping this trailer. If you are not mechanically adept you might need a bike shop to prep and attach this trailer but this could also be true with any trailer. • The fragile plastic bushing where the trailer mates with the fork cracked and split on the very first use ($12+ shipping to replace it on the Maya website.) I made an addition purchase direct within weeks and asked Maya to replace the defective bushing. They merely ignored my request. • 16” wheel axle arrived with bearings inadequately greased and cones not properly adjusted. • Without the critical axle brackets and washers you’re out of business so you’ll want spares $19 + shipping) • Light is visible through seams in the dry bag. Useless. I use a rigid storage tub instead. • The dark red flag has no reflective quality making it completely useless for nighttime riding. I made an alternate from a neon yellow reflective vest • Wing nuts are an invitation to tampering or theft. I used common 3/8 x 24 axle nuts with the built-in raised, scored washer • Manual states: “an additional axle washer (not supplied) must be placed between the rear fork arm and the Maya axle adapters …” . Within 2 miles with the washers in place, the wheel would suddenly shift to jamb against the arm/stay so hard that the bike couldn’t be ridden. Luckily I had a slightly shorter axle • The selection of high-quality, after-market 16” inch tires and tubes is extremely limited. Extremely. Stout, 1½ inch thorns are common in my area so I added a Mr Tuffy-brand tire insert to the Kenda Kontact urban tire for greatly improved flat protection.

Works well but some quality issues
I purchased this bike trailer in May 2019 (over 3 years ago) and have used it on three 3-day bike camping trips.Following the advice of others, I purchased the better quality quick release https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00BQOS3YO/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o09_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1and a better quality tire https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01FTD9SPK/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1This of course increased the cost, which is still pretty reasonable.I attach it to my 2016 Specialized Crosstrail Sport Disc hybrid bike (700cm wheels)... i leave the quick release replacement installed all the time, which works just fine (make sure wing nuts are tight).I measure the total weight of all the components at 15 pounds.Overall I like the design, it generally follows effortlessly behind the bike, it's low center of gravity helping keep things stable. The bag holds my sleeping bag, tent, air mattress, foodbag and some clothes... i still need some small panniers for other stuff such as water. Some negatives:The design and manufacture of the bag caused a weird badly sewed end of the zipper (basically a design problem of the bag) which I worked around with some loose stitches. The skinny side rails cracked off on one end after my last trip (on both sides)... not a show stopper, but may eventually give problems (work around is to have enough bungies holding things together)... perhaps a welding shop could come up with a proper fix.

This a great trailer to have!
Hi MikeThanks for shipping out the trailer Monday, got it Thursday at noon and set it up that afternoon. The instructions were clear and easy to follow and it fit on my bike no problem, even with having an electric and gas motor back there. Took it out Friday as the temperature was a balmy +1 C. Rode into town with a 5 gallon water jug to fill at the local store, and with it empty I didn’t even feel it there. On the way back I had the jug sitting upright and a case of drinks, as well as two other bags, so 50+ pounds and sloshing water. Once I got going it followed along with no complaints, I could feel the jug (it was sitting upright) but the trailer tracked smoothly while riding back on the highway travelling just at the edge of the road perfectly in line with my bike wheels. This trailer has now allowed me to do things I could only do with the car before and I am looking forward to a lot of use with it in the years to come.I’ve enclosed a picture of my setup, was so eager to try it out, I took the picture and realized after I had forgot to put on the flag!

Good one but could be better. Please improve the bag!!
At all it is a nice and well designed bike trailer. It runs pretty confortable and reliable.Comes with a very nice manual. The only negative point and the biggest troublemaker is the bag. It ripped off in the ziper sew in the 8th day.I'm completely lost right now because I'm in the middle of my Canada bike travel and I'm not able to carry on my trip because the bag ziper, like the pictures.I'm disapointed with this situation and need help to solve it ASAP.
