This is a QUALITY buffer. I use it to polish/buff/sand guitars. I have some rectangular sanding pads that have a Velcro-friendly backing on them. I cut them to size and they stick the supplied discs perfectly. The orbital attachments work great. You WILL want to use them if you're going to buffing anything that needs a gloss finish. The prevent swirl marks.As a rule, both batteries will get you about 30 solid minutes of pretty vigorous use and charge time is about an hour as I recall.If you are going to be buffing a larger surface, like the hood of a car, get the bigger one. This one is perfect for smaller jobs like guitar bodies, spot-buffing scratches on vehicles, including motorcycles. The uses are only limited by your imagination.

Great kit that has a lot of pads available in the package. The tool itself is well made and performed well in my initial use; time will tell if it holds up. At this point I would recommend this product to anyone that is into keeping their vehicle or boat polished and clean. This tool worked great in small locations around the emblems on the car and in tight spaces around portholes and tie downs on the boat. Very pleased with it.

Build quality:Built great and easy to add to your polisher or grinder

I bought this product and never used within my return window. It has no power, the batteries burn out (literally melted plastic) and only took a charge twice, before batteries wouldn't charge for more than 3 minutes of use. I called custom service, since my return window ran out, and it was once of the worst customer service people I've ever worked with. As a result, I will never use any Maxshine product again and highly recommend that you stay away from this company.
