Neat finish
Neat finish, it did cut a little slow to start with, but after it got it started i drilled 2 6mm holes where the spikes are to allow them to move easier as the cutter did the work, seemed to help alot

Shockingly poor quality
Useless, weld seperated when applied to first piece of plasterboard ot was exposed too. Also bought the single box version which seems to work okayWould like a refund

Really convenient
It's very convenient to have something exactly sized for the job you're doing. The cutter works really well with plasterboard, but I admit, I have put this through its paces and used it on unintended materials - it hasn't broken on me yet!It doesn't perform that well with large wall thicknesses, or anything other than plasterboard, but it does get the job started and adds an outline to follow with another tool where more force is needed.Overall quite happy with it and it's saved me time

Great product and usability
I have both the single and double gang in these. I am totally blind and the reason I love these cutters is that they come with 2 locating spikes. The spikes allow you to measure and site the cutter -out of the machine- then snap it onto the tool and you are sure it is in the right place and not likely to drift when you start to cut.Highly recommend and was using in a Ryobi 18v one plus multitool for reference.Very helpful customer support, and thanks for your assistance.

Using something square to cut a hole...
I thought why not.. it was a great price and it would save on t8me cutting boxes into walls at work. So having the lads got through my box on site and I had some boxes to cut, we gave this a try. With 6 lads watching with kern anticipation the end result wasn’t very good. Brilliant for marking the boxes up, cutting was terrible. Who has 10-20mins to wait to cut a hole? Mr multi tool blades had to come out to finish the hole..

A handy tool
I was a bit nervous about using this because of some of the reviews, but it worked perfectly for me. Because of the way a multi-tool works, the hole isn't totally square but it's the perfect size and shape for a back box. It takes a couple of minutes to work its way through the plasterboard, regardless of how hard you push it. So just give it gentle pressure and let it go at its own pace. It makes a huge amount of dust, so you really need some sort of extraction system going - even if it's just a vacuum cleaner.
