I started drinking this BHB Salts drink to give myself a little boost in the morning before I head to another long day of work. I like that I can take this quickly and easily while starting out my day with some hydration. I pour 1 scoop into a glass of water and give it a quick stir. The powder dissolves quickly and easily in room temperature or cold water. Then I drink it straight down and head out to start my day. This powder doesn't give me a big energy boost, but I feel like it gives me a steady uptick in energy for the day.The green apple flavor starts out fine and tastes sweet like a green apple Jolly Rancher, but then an unpleasant, bitter taste lingers in your mouth. I always make sure that I have a little snack or a different beverage after my green apple drink to get rid of that weird aftertaste. This powder also gives you a little bit of calcium, magnesium, and potassium - but no sugar!

This drink mix does help me get my day going in the morning, plus it's gluten free which is a requirement for me. The only downside for me is it too sweet for me.

Taking 1 scoop of this in a big glass of water late morning has really helped me feel more energetic!I absolutely LOVE that they use 'spirulina (see weed) and carotene (a pigment found in carrots) and NOT all these artificial FD&C Blue, Green, Yellow, Red etc. that are SO bad for you! I had never heard of BHB salts before coming across this here, but I really like mixing up a scoop of this in cold water and drinking it before and during my high-intensity weightlifting workouts. I have used these for a good few workouts now and haven't experienced any negative side effects. I feel like drinking this helps me get through the workouts with good energy and good hydration as well, though I take other supplements and drink plenty of other fluids before, so I can't be sure what this is doing or not. I will say that I seem to notice a positive difference. So far, I have only tried this on a weightlifting day, but I may try it other times as well. The suggestion on the label is to have one scoop per day. I can't see myself using this type of supplement on a daily basis, but I may try it on an as-needed basis if I am especially active or feel like I need a boost. The green apple flavor is very good. It is sweetened with stevia and colored with blue spirulina and beta carotene, which I like. Overall, I am impressed with this Nutricost BHB salts. The way I use it, I feel it's a good value, too.
