Rugged, Comfortable, and Perfect for Everyday or Tactical Use
These CQR tactical pants are hands down some of the best I’ve owned. The fit is spot on—snug where they should be, but flexible enough for full movement. Whether I’m training, hiking, working outdoors, or just wearing them casually, they hold up great and look sharp. The fabric feels durable and water-resistant without being stiff, and the reinforced stitching gives me confidence they’ll last a long time. I also really appreciate the pocket design—plenty of storage without looking bulky, and everything is placed where it makes sense for practical use.Excellent value for the quality. I’ve already picked up a second pair and plan to grab more in different colors. Highly recommend for anyone who needs performance pants that don’t sacrifice comfort.

I bought all 3 variants so you wouldn't have to.
I bought all 3 variants, Rocky, Sierra, and Runyon since I was so confused on what the difference was. The very short answer is, they're really not much different, buy whatever you feel like. They all feel really good with great mobility.Rocky is best for secured pockets. It has 2 front zipper pockets, the rest only have 1. The back two pockets are flapped shut so things don't fall out. This pants also came with a belt.Sierra is similar to Rocky, but one zipper pocket in front and another flapped front. The back 2 pockets are open topped.Runyon mainly stood out with how the hand pockets felt. Rocky and Sierra hand pockets kind of go straight down. Not as natural to walk around with hands in your pockets. Runyon pockets go into the pants more sideways for a more comfortable pocket for hands. Runyon has almost the exact same pocket design as Sierra except one free mini pocket on the right leg.Compared to some other CQR pants I've tried, these three pants are definitely thin and wouldn't hold up to a beating like the other CQR ones meant for police, military, and more technical stuff. BUT, these are flexible, comfortable, and pretty dang light. So a good buy, just don't buy them for caving, or anything really hard on the pants.

WERE the BEST HOT WEATHER DURABLE PANTS
WARNINGS...1st these are no longer available & not been for long time as I'd really like more2nd CQR seems to sell ALL versions under one posting as I've bought a half dozen all thru this single post so it is impossible to easily know to.which version my comments are for. Guessing the vendor is either saving money having so many versions in one post or are trying to confuse us.3rd NEWEST LIGHTWEIGHT pants CLAIMED HIKING pants but are basically dress or tourist pants ONLY 5 pockets & 5th pocket is way too small for any modern phones & I need 2 phone pockets but "cargo" style are too clunky for my tastes. Newest are being returned bit i do.eant to.find this light material in a more practical pant.4th ALSO RETURNING another new pair I just got as one of the cargo pockets is SIDEWAYS & TOO NARROW for anything I carry BUT SIDEWAYS? I've added new photo but black maybe not able to show the problem? I included the tags to.help.you know which pants to NOT BUY!5th & final I LOVE the CQR pants I have & wear all the time [4 or 5 pair now] but come on vendor STOP the confusion & offer only one version per posting!Wow... These are (were) a home run especially on these 100 degree hot humid days! I rarely give 5 stars but these maybe deserve 6 stars!NO MORE 5 STARSI'M DOWNGRADING TO 4 after the mess of ordering so many versions under one posting! My top 3 PRO comments...Loose fit legs help stay cool but ample room & I bet helps stay co but great if you need to wear a knee brace like me.Superb material that is durable yet super lightweight yet is NOT what I call "plasticy" material so many synthetic materials are.Complete useful yet still look great design with the standard 4 pockets (& change does not fall out like some cargo pants) plus two standard cargo pockets that has VELCRO FREE pocket covers [I hate when velcro catches everything] with TWO BONUS POCKETS you maybe cannot see in Amazon photos so see my photo. I need to carry company phone in addition to mine and these pockets are superb! Each can hold 2 rather large phones but I prefer keep one in each!As for CON observations... I'm still trying to find one worth posting. I almost always have a critical comment. Just none to report yet!WAIT... ORDER YOUR NORMAL SIZE [another reviewer is very wrong] as my only complaint is because I bought 2 sizes based on that other review to ensure I had one to use right away...RETURNING these is a HASSLE! I live under a mile from an Amazon Box BUT THE FORCED ME TO GO MANY MILES TO A KOHLS store to return these!AND NOW after multi-listings I have to hesitate before I will ever buy CQR anything!

Hands down these are comfortable and 100% durable enough to wear working in EMS
I bought these pants to wear to work as I wanted some lightweight but sturdy and durable pants for working in EMS. I am an avid backpacker, ultralight hiker and I've owned many many pairs of hiking pants and these by far are the most comfortable pants I have ever worn to work and plan on buying multiple colors to wear for my backpacking trips. So much so I was able to get my work partner and a couple of co-workers to also buy them to wear to work.

Waist Sizing Is WAY Off
The quality of these is impeccable. They're very well made. I'd like to buy more than the two pairs I have. The length is excellent. But the waist fits like CLOWN PANTS! I'm 5'10", 160lb. and I wear 30x32 in almost every pant there is. My actual waist measurement is 31" on the dot. Levi's and Dockers are a perfect fit.The waist on my CQR 30x32 pants is comparable to a 34 in Levi's, and that's without stretching the elastic whatsoever. You would think with an elastic waistband, they'd be a bit smaller than a normal pant, but quite the contrary: I have the belt wrapped all the way around to my back and have these cinched around me like a sack of potatoes to keep them up.They feel real nice in the inside, but if I wore these with colorful suspenders and a big, red nose I could pass for a clown on Halloween.
