Works so well for the 30C+ temps has been used in, 100% recommend.
Easy to setup, took out of the box, fitted the soft zip bag thing to the window frame, connected the pipe to the adaptor, connected the adaptor to the unit, removed tape and plugged in and it started working straight away. Only used it to cool air so far, not used the Dehumidification feature so can not speak to the water capacity of it. The unit is louder than my PC, but given it is cooling a room, with 2 gaming PC's dumping 70-80C of heat into the room whit and ambient temperature of 30C in the room, the Air Con easily keeps the room temps down on the lower fan setting with 19C set. One of the best things i have ever purchased because for the price the quality is excellent and with the future set to only get hotter the investment is very much worth EVERY PENNY as we have wasted so much money on other things that claimed to "cool air" but never did.

Great cost effective unit - works very well
Works very well we have 3 very large bedrooms in the roof space and these units cool them down very well in the current heatwave. Tip buy a bucket as well as they generate a fair amount of water when cooling so you will need one to put the drain tube in to. Over night it must be about 4 L of water. Easy to set the unit up, although the venting tube is a bit stiff. The venting kit is ok we have it fitted to a velux roof window and 2 side opening windows. I have used gorilla tape and the supplied window surround to seal the window fully. Cost effective way to cool the rooms down, whilst thinking of getting full AC units fitted to house.

Life-saver for British heat, smart functions are just the cherry on top
Got this 9000BTU unit as an upgrade from my old 7000BTU unit. The difference is huge. This unit is quieter, better built, and the smart functions are great - no worrys about losing the remote.Powerful enough to keep my bedroom at a pleasant 20 degrees even on the hottest days, and with a 3D printer, drinks fridge and gaming PC all running.

It kind of works, but isn't great
First, be aware my delivery was done by DPD, who reliably deliver to the wrong address (and did). That minor inconvenience aside, the unit is surprisingly small and compact and looks pretty decent. It's quite heavy, though, so I question how truly "portable" it is: I wouldn't want to be lugging it up and down stairs as the mood takes me, put it that way. We're planning to pick a spot and leave it there, basically. It runs quite loud. I measured the conventional fan running next to my bed before now at 38dB, and I find that intrusive at night. This thing, on full fan speed, registers at 58dB. My meter says that's a "quiet office", but I'd say it was significantly more intrusive than that and renders it unsuitable for a bedroom at night unless I take to wearing earplugs. Setup was (forgive the pun) a breeze, but see below for a significant caveat concerning the venting mechanism. Is it pumping out lots of lovely, cool air? Sure: so it's doing its cooling job effectively and I am confident that if we get another 38°C scorcher, this is going to be a great boon and improve comfort in the house considerably. The provided remote control is a useful addition that allows you to do everything you can do with the on-unit buttons (and nothing extra!) but without having to leave your seat. The lazy in me appreciates this! There are two big caveats that knock stars off this review, however. First is the price: I think £250 is expensive for a product such as this, though of course that's a subjective assessment. The second problem is objectively more of an issue: I bought this for the claim that it suits slider windows *and* push-out ones, as most air conditioners these days seem to assume you have slider windows only (and we don't). It's push-out "support", however, consists of providing a giant white fabric 'sock' whose purpose remains a mystery to me but installation of which requires attaching Velcro to your window frame: this completely undermines any sense of portability, as you basically have to glue stuff to specific windows for the venting to be efficiently done. Even more seriously, the venting hose is quite short... and all our push-out windows are quite high up. The hose doesn't reach, basically, and I am therefore immediately in the market for an extension hose... which, according to the manual, will void the warranty if I obtain and use one. Technically, this makes the air conditioner completely non-functional for my house, though merely sticking the hose out of a patio door in the interim, without the giant sock, is actually working to a reasonable extent.I can't really recommend this unit, therefore. It works, to a point. But it isn't trivial to make it suit every house and, for £250, that disappoints me. Will I keep the unit? Sure, because anything is better than a hot, humid English summer day! It will provide a very necessary respite. But it's not the seamless experience I was hoping for.

Does the job wonderfully
It is second year running for this Portable AC.So glad we bought it as with more and more hot days making our bedroom feel like oven at night, this unit is a blessing. It is bit noisy but that is not a problem for us. It cools our bedroom efficiently and quickly. It is not light weight to move frequently so we have set it up in one place permanently. We just remove the exhaust pipe attachment in the winter.Overall really happy with the product and recommended it to friends.

Cool down very quickly
Very good performance, it helps to cool down a lot during the heatwave. My room temperature down from 30+ degree to 26 degree within 10 mins during the afternoon sun shining. It do takes some time to setup and read the instructions. But the setup is not that hard, just takes time to understand how it works. However, the fan mode does not cool down the room. It only improves air ventilation but the temperature rises even higher. So suggest to use the air conditioner mode only.
