Delicious! Perfect soup seasoning
I make my own shelf-stable noodle bowls to bring to the office. They include dried veggies, soy curls, and rice noodles. I have a few flavor powders I like to add, but nothing that tasted really "meaty". I'm not vegetarian but I try to only meat 3-4 times per week, so it was important that it was vegetarian. I also have celiac disease, which made it hard to find something that would work for my needs. This product has been great. I served a soup with it to a vegan friend, and she asked if I had served her beef broth by mistake!

Nice product
Good product I couldn’t find it in my local market and being a vegan this is a godsend.

Beef Taste is Always Tough to Achieve
Trying to get a real beef taste from vegan sources is tough if not impossible. I've tried many different brands and none of them ever achieved a true beef flavor and this one hasn't either. But that's okay, because it tastes great! Used it in my chunky vegetable lentil soup where I took a chance and left out several of my usual spices and used this instead since the ingredient list is packed with good spices and flavorings. This worked well to really up the flavor of the soup, so we are happy with it even though $15 (the price at the time of this review) is a wee bit high. This should work brilliantly as a replacement for just about any dish that requires broth, stock or bullion.Regardless of the price, we'll definitely order it again.

Not what I was expecting
Not was I was expecting. So for myself, I wouldn't purchase again. I was later offered a refund which I appreciate.

Tasty, gluten-free, vegan alternative to bullion.
I got this to use when my nephew visits. He's both a vegetarian and has celiac, so I'm always looking for new ingredients for him to try. This bullion doesn't seem to actually taste like beef, but it does taste good, and he's happy with it, so I'm happy with it.

About as good as vegetarian bouillon gets
Review of vegan "beef" bouillon from Hella PhatI've had to deal with making with vegetarian food for our family for years. For someone who grew up eating meat, it's a constant search to find find foods to replace the ones that I sometimes crave but no longer eat. First, this does not really replace my memory of beef bouillon. It's not quite rich enough and there are too many plant flavors. Second, I have yet to find ANY veggie bouillon that truly replaces the meaty taste of beef broth. This is as good a bouillon as I have yet found to do so.It contains ingredients that are recognizable and will be familiar to a lot of vegetarians: nutritional yeast, sea salt, onion powder, celery powder, mushroom powders, tomato powder, and spices. Along with the more hearty taste of some of the ingredients, I do get an herb-like taste that reminds me of sage, perhaps celery???Overall it works well, particularly if you're using it in a soup with other flavors. I'm not lowering my rating, but I had to identify the bouillon without being told what it was, I don't know if I would guess beef or chicken. The color (no artificial colors) says chicken more than beef because of all the nutritional yeast. There's also enough of an herby flavor that it reminds me of how chicken might be roasted instead of how beef is cooked. In a soup, though, it does work as a beef sort of flavor. Since I'm not about to eat the real thing, I'm quite happy with this imitation.

Okayish, too much cumin.
This is decent enough, but to my taste it has way too much cumin. Personally, I wouldn't use cumin in the sorts of things I use beef broth in, so it is really useful for me, unfortunately. Also currently a somewhat overpriced for what you get.
