Samsung 860 EVO 500GB SATA M.2 (2280) Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) (MZ-N6E500)

This m.2 is fast in every thing you throw at it. Not any difference in gaming than my wd green SSD but the Samsung evo boots my predator laptop in 7 seconds compared to my kingston m.2 SSD which takes 11 seconds. Read and write fast enough do not require a NVME this samsung evo does the job for normal computing. Easy to clone and optimise with samsung apps available on the Samsung site. But price is too high for a sata ssd you can buy a NVME for this price. Crucial mx500 is better in terms of value for money.

Delivery : QuickInstallation : It was very easy as I had got confirmed that my hp 15 notebook had a dedicated m.2 ssd slot. We have to install Samsung migration software and it automatically clones hard drive and sets primary boot device as ssd.My notebook runs very much smooth and fast.

Nice original product....The book looked a little old but it was properly sealed received the product and all the documentation.....Validated with Samsung magician software.........Got it for Rs4800 using 10 percent ICICI discount...Pretty happy

Used this product for my acer nitro 5. Fits like a charm and is very easy to install. Just plug it and perform some transformations (if moving windows from HDD to SSD) and we are good to go. If not moving and want an additional drive storage we dont need anything else apart from placing the chip inside the system.Cheers to samsung and amazon.

I wish they provided a screw, but perhaps that depends on the device you are going to mount it in. If the manufacturers are following standards, inclusion of a mounting screw would not be much cost and effort but saves the buyer a lot of hassle.My 5 yr old laptop got a new lease of life with the 500gb ssd, the only bottleneck of my i7 6th generation laptop.Did a fresh install of Windows 11 and it's fast now.

SSD is performing well. Blazing fast I would say. And packaging was also good. I'm having dell Inspiron 7560 and I installed it by myself only. Install was easy. Installation related guidelines are given in dell 7560 service guide.

Installed in my laptop and boot partition is moved to this SSD drive. It is booting very fast and working good. It has been more than 2 years of using it.

I choose Samsung SSD as I can use Samsung's data migration tool to make a copy of my c drive so that I don't have to go through the headache of reinstalling os and other software and drivers. And it went very smoothly. It took about 30 mins to copy(depends on the adapter) the entire C-drive. For a couple of programs, I had to enter the key again, the rest worked fine.Note: This M.2 SSD is SATA, not nvme. So you need to use a M.2 Sata adapter if you are connecting using USB port. m.2 nvme/PCIe adapter will not work.
