Very loud did not disappoint
Another level in terms of sound. My customer wanted loud and this did not disappoint. Customer and me both happy.Would like a mains power to turn on instead of 12V switched output and this part was a farse for my installation

Buy at your peril...
Bloody offensive.Do not bother buying we are in the process of getting these alarms banned in the UK. Why? We have 2 properties nearby who have them and they are BTH faulty ( one gas been ordered to disable the alarm and had an £1800 fine /control order slapped on for persistence nuisance. They are hugely offensive and antisocial as they go off when it is windy, bird, cat, lorry movement. If you wish to get burgled buy one as it will be guaranteed your neighbours will not call the Police if your house is robbed as they will feel it serves you right.

Very very load and the noise is unbearable.Used as a panic alarm button at premises.

The loudest thing known to man
This would make a fantastic air raid siren. This is currently installed in a small terraced property and if you accidentally trigger it, I promise you your ears will bleed. No intruder would dare come close to this almighty product. I imagine this is designed for factories / warehouses, but in a small house it's not just a deterrent but a retaliation as no intruder will be able to deal with this for more than about a second as it spins up. I have accidently triggered it twice, and the first time I did it I couldn't sit down and focus for at least half an hour, I was actually shaken.Buy one, but by God do not ever set it off unless you are wearing three pairs of ear defenders.

these are really loud. hurt your hearing loud. as for the one star review from someone.... this is a stand alone siren so if it's going off all the time the alarm is faulty not it. the only negative I would give this is it is powered by 230volt with a 12volt switch signal. so even if you have back up battery on the alarm panel you could just switch off the mains power and disable it.
