I took a risk on a refurbished machine—I have a big 15.6in laptop but I needed something both more portable and quite powerful for my new job, and this fit the bill exactly. I’ve found that it’s extremely fast and quiet, with good speakers and fully functional keys and buttons! Even more surprising was the battery life: I’ve been able to use it all day without being plugged in, not something I expected from a used computer. It uses a usbc charger, which is great.There were a few cosmetic issues with the case, and for some reason when I received it the entire keyboard was unpleasantly sticky. Fortunately I was able to clean the keyboard with no issue and the tiny scratches and dents were easily concealed with stickers.Update: the battery is even better than I expected!!! I left this little guy in my bag for three days without using it, and it only used up 3% of the battery!!!!

Product was used very sparingly since we bought it. Maybe 6 hours at the most since February. Worked fine until the SSD inexplicably stopped working the DAY AFTER the return window closed. Ridiculous.I should now add to this review that the laptop is totally dead. Worked fine for a few days after replacing the SSD, but now it doesn't even charge or turn on. Dell Tech support wants me to send it in for an estimate to repair. 40 bucks.... plus the cost of what will likely amount to swapping out the motherboard. Not happening. Already paid 600 bucks for a paper weight. Worst experience I ever had with refurbished piece of hardware. Buyer beware.

I received the device in good physical condition. The speed is fairly good as I am able to surf the internet without any glitches so far. I have used it to send and receive emails as well as type materials using the note pad. So far, I've not had an issue with the battery life and brightness. I enjoy the fact that the keyboard lights up. The only issues I've had so far was during it's initial set up to start using the device. I wasn't able to pass the security verification step for a while until I finally did. Also, the touch screen doesn't work all the time and sometimes there is a delay in some of the keypads. I don't know why.

I was very pleased with my purchase. It came on time, in great condition, and was as described/met expectations. While I have only had this for two days...A couple things I really like1:Def the 2in1 is awesome! Love being able to easily switch back and forth.2: touchscreen, even when not in tablet mode. It for me at least is super convenient and helpful! Works well and is accurate.3: the size is a great in between. Not too large for a smaller person, for me the perfect functional size (also in my opinion a great size for travel while still having the full functionality of a laptop) And the weight is also not at all to much for portability.4: The key board is also well designed and has good feel and response. Also the backlight is def a nice, practical touch.5: a bonus for me is the ports

This is an awesome 2-in-1. Most others lack decent performance/RAM with a less than FHD screen unless you're spending a LOT more, but then you get into larger sizes which aren't as portable. This is the perfect balance between performance, price and size. I use it mainly for motorcycle trips where every bit of space and weight is crucial. And the battery lasts just as long as a macbook pro. My only complaint is the rotation sensor seems a bit slow or low-sensitivity so I have to do a more obvious movement or use a keyboard shortcut to rotate the screen instead. Other than that, 10/10 in my book.

This Dell 5289 2-1 computer was advertised as a touch screen computer. It was definitely not a touch screen. Also there were no instructions. The computer had an administrative password and could not be assessed.

Item arrived with a dent in the side and I tried to return/exchange it but could not get seller to respond to my request. I love the product (and it seems to be working fine) however I wish the seller would have at least acknowledged my request even if they deny it.

The touchscreen itself is OK, but there is a driver issue with windows that I have yet to resolve. I have gotten the touchscreen to work for a short amount of time by editing windows registry, but it default back after reboot or after a short time after the laptop has been running. Other than that, a works great.
