Great inverter, but be careful of power demands
I ordered this to use primarily for running my powertool 240v battery chargers from the lighter socket of my van. There is little more inconvenient than running out of charged batteries while not having access to mains voltage when on a job, so I figured that getting an inverter would be a solution to this problem. For the most part it seems to be working well so far.My 18v charger requires 240W of power to operate so this inverter is just powerful enough to do this; yes its close to the maximum power rating so I have been careful to keep an eye on heat build up and melting cables (which hasn't happened). The unit does get warm and the internal fan switches on and off to cool things down. The time taken to charge a battery seems the same as when you plug into the mains so presumably the power output is the same with both. The unit itself is made from hard plastic with red metal vents that certainly look the part. It is quite compact at 155mm x 92mm x 51mm and surprisingly light . The simple controls on the case is a single on/off rocker switch on the front of the case; there are 3 sockets: the 240v out 3 pin style socket and two USB an A type that is a 18W quick charge and a 30W USB C type one.At around £60 the unit is on par with the general spread of prices for comparable inverters; this is my first experience with one so I cannot say how it might compare to similar devices.

Good, reliable inverter. Repeat purchase.
This is an excellent, compact inverter, reliable in use, and quick to connect via a car cigarette lighter socket if needed in a hurry. We've bought a number of these over the years, and now carry one on every vehicle as a 'get out of trouble' power source. Highly recommended!

Reliable portable clean power
This 300w Bestek pure sinewave inverter is the second I have owned. This one however features a 30 watt USB C fast charge port in addition to a smart USB A port which to me is very convenient. My use case for these is fast charging drones and camera batteries, as this now has a fast charger built in, I like it even more! My equipment does require good quality power which is why I chose Bestek pure sinewave in the first place a few years ago.I've never had any reliability issues with Bestek and I look forward to continuing to use their devices.

Well manufactured with good safety features
I've never used an inverter before so this review isn't a comparison with any other inverter I've ever used or whether I know a huge amount about them but I do tend to do some research before purchasing things and considering this is a product that changes voltage from a 12V system to 240V my main concern was whether this may harm my battery not to mention the wiring. It seems to be a well manufactured unit with appropriate safety features to make using this as worry free as possible and being rated at 300W this is roughly in the middle of what pros recommend for an inverter connected to a 12V system via a cigarette/auxiliary plug socket.450W tends to be the higher end for these type of devices with anything higher needing hard wiring.I have learned that these shouldn't be used with the engine off as inevitably the battery can be flattened pretty quick so using this is something that'll come in handy for long trips where either I'll connect up a portable fridge for camping, laptop usage for the kids, quicker charging of devices via the fast charge ports or for camping trips etc etc.I'm not expecting this to start boiling kettles or using any device that draws over 300W in power and would recommend being mindful of what power your device draws before connecting to the 3 pin UK plug socket.I think this is fairly priced tbh at just under £60 at time of review as I have seen these higher in price from well known car spares and accessories retailers. It's a pretty quiet running unit even when the fan kicks in to keep things cool and prevent overheating although I've had no issues with this getting too hot.It came in handy a few days ago when we took our daughter back to university and needed to use her laptop on the move so plugged this in and powered up her MacBook whilst also being able to charge up her iPhone. It's given us no issues at all whatsoever and I think the price is justified for the quality.

Reliable Power Inverter with Fast Charging and Pure Sine Wave Technology
I recently purchased this product to power my devices during road trips, and it has exceeded my expectations. The 300W pure sine wave output ensures that sensitive electronics like my laptop and tablet run smoothly without any risk of damage or interference. The addition of USB-C and QC3.0 ports is a huge bonus. I use the USB-C port to charge my phone, and it works incredibly fast—perfect for staying connected while on the go. The standard sockets are well-designed, accommodating a range of plug types, and the build quality feels robust and durable. One feature I particularly appreciated is the quiet operation. Unlike other inverters I've tried, this one doesn’t emit distracting fan noise, even during extended use. The compact design fits neatly in the car, and the included cables make it easy to set up.This product is perfect for anyone needing reliable power for road trips, camping, or emergency use. It’s efficient, versatile, and has become an essential part of my travel gear. Highly recommend!
