Both of these stories are exciting, well acted, and uplifting in a twisted sort of way. Unlike the vast majority of Hollywood movies, these present a relevant and believable perspective on God and religion without once descending into cliche or banality. I am not usually a fan of remakes, but I AM LEGEND is at least a full magnitude of order better than THE OMEGA MAN and has the ability to grip the viewer's emotions in every way imaginable. ELI is a bit harder to love, but hey -- Denzel AND Will for just a few bucks? How can you possibly pass this up?

I enjoyed I Am Legend more than I've ever had since receiving the bluray combo. Big Willie killed it with his acting. "The Book of Eli" is a different story. It starts off strong but fissles out towards the end and becomes ridiculous. Oh, and "I am Legend" comes with the alternate ending as well. I was sure if the combo just came with the theatrical version or not. The alternate version is much better, imo.

these are both great movies, with similar themes and stories. getting them together at a reduced price is just unbeatable. (as a side note, I was required to add the word "just" to that last sentence to fill the space needed for this review, which is sorta like censorship in reverse: requiring people to talk instead of keep quiet. reminds me of being back in school... I might have to make jokes in the rest of the reviews I'm gonna post and see if I can get in trouble.)

We enjoy both of these films. Though Book of Eli is more disturbing, still enjoyable. Good value for both movies.

Great actors in whatever movie they're in. My usual forum is not end-of-world type movies, but I Am Legend captured me. It was brilliant right to the closing. Book of Eli was so inspirational. Already an avid believer in the Bible but this movie clinches it to heart even more.

My disk came with both movies on two separate disks that both play in widescreen, while I'd like it more in full screen, it's just probably just something I need to figure out since I'm playing on my PS3. They both do work though, tested them before I threw away my return sticker. For two movies the price is great, and they are very good movies at that.
