3M Home Water Filtration IAC420 Replacement Cartridge for Whole House Scale Prevention System (White) - Pack of 2

I am using this product for my 3M overall water tank filer. Its one of the best product from 3M and Original Product was delivered by AMAZON.

Works great and as expected

Does not last for long. It changes it's white colour within a month and slowly turns pitch black in 3-4 months. Since it is very costly and every year you need atleast 3 replacements, running cost is very high, 10k per annum it is going to cost you. Either the price of the cartridges has to come down or quality has to improve so that it lasts longer. Even if it runs for 6-8 months, cost is manageable.

This prevents scale but dont know for how long, needed to change it after 3 months. The filter also catches a lot of iron which needs cleaning as this layers on the outer cover. Inside there are crystals and I managed to remove the cover and load resins to recycle and use it again. Also the price is quite high for a domestic use.

I can't confirm if it is genuine product, I seriously suspect that it is not an original one. The package looked very old with a cello tap seal. There were no papers inside. The filter inside has no visible logo of 3M. I will think again before buying in future.

Worst product from 3M.. I bought this product 1 year ago and within a month it is not releasing much water.. I picked up the ticket and they told me you are on a higher floor and it will not work for you , if you still want then install electric motor also to solve the purpose and the cost will be bare by customer.1. Water quality is not proper2. You will feel less water flow within 15 days of installation, after that you will start calling them and in 3 months you will remove the stuff. It's a mental torture3. This award is a waste of money
