Where is the fiber derived from?

"Chitosan is a dietary fiber derived from the shells of crustaceans" according to the back of the label.

Are these tablets or capsules? I need to split them for my small dog.

Nice Smooth Tablets. Should be easy to split.

Got headache after taking it, anyone having the same ?

I had a mild headache as if this dried out my sinuses. BTW, my doc advised that, as a CKD patient, I should not take this as it contains calcium and phosphorus.
