Makes the whole chair better
My posture was suffering because my elbows could not reach my chair’s armrests without slouching/sitting incorrectly. Either office chairs nowadays are not made with human beings in mind (they rarely are, have unfortunately tried many) or my bones are just sized wrong. These armrest pads are firm as far as thickness, but soft to the touch. (Suede sort of material)I’ll be able to put my weight on them without them deflating any time soon. Glad I bought them.

Arm test cushions to cover rips on mobility Vela chairmobility chair.
I use those armrest pads in my mobility chair by Vela. The rubber armrest are torn half off & in bad shape. They give me softness to rest my arm & cover up the broken rubber underneath. The fit isn't the best but it works.

works well on certain types of chairs, not so well on others
This works well on chairs with thin arms that don't taper. If you have a taper, the pads have a tendancy to slip off--the pad could benefit from a stickier underside. If the arm of the chair is too thick, the velcro attachments won't overlap, and it won't stay on at all. Also, I bought 2 sets (4 pads total) and the strap ripped out of the pad for one of them, after about a week of use. If you can get the pads to stay on, this can turn a nasty, hard chair arm into a soft, comfortable chair arm. So, a mixed bag...I'm happy with the way it improved one of my chairs, and frustrated by its inability to fit another chair, also frustrated that one broke after so short a time.

Supper soft and firm.
These are great. They stay put, have a great soft to the skin feel and they are just firm enough to support you without being too soft and having nothing there. Highly recommend this one.

Very comfortable
Bought for someone who has to spend time in a chair. with hard surfaces for arms needs to be softer and Needs more gripping surface Especially when you have to use that area of chair to hold to get up But with that said they are very nice and soft for long periods of time.

Lasted a week, and that was with me getting creative.
I guess the seam near the zipper is faulty? This was just normal, I happen to have elbows that rest on these pads-level usage. The first one ripped, I thought, I can rig this up, switched them, and got a little creative with fastening for the ripped one. Which got me through another day. Before they ripped they were okay. Not great, but functional. Now they're not even that.

Useless for thick armrests
Poor design, the velcro strip is three-quarters "loop", only the first quarter of the strap is "hook". So unless your chair's armrests are very thin, the "loop" will not reach far enough to catch the "hook" which means it will not secure to itself to keep the cushion in place, making it useless. This should be reversed so the velcro could secure to itself for thin AND thick armrests. Still gave it 3 stars because it seems really comfortable.UPDATED to 4 stars because it really is comfortable, would be 5 stars if I could secure it better.
