Draw a line for the cut making sure a fabrot line marker is used for accuracy. Allow at least 1/8” for width of blade. Apply even pressure through out duration of cut. Be sure to wear gloves and ear protection when picking up glass shards and wife yelling “you are a moron but that’s partly why l still love after 40 years of marital bliss”.

Thank you for your question. The GT2000 are designed for the lighter density of glass and wall tile or natural stone. If the tile is harder material like porcelain or granite it is recommended to use the diamond hole saws or cylindrical diamond bits. Thank you for your question. You should not have to have anything other than a drill. When using the GT2000 bits they should drill through glass bottles as long as you use water to keep bit cool while drilling.
