Dell RT7D60 Smart Card Computer Keyboard DJ741

I don't use smartcards but thats not why I bought this keyboard. I wanted the old double sized backspace key. For some reason new more expensive keyboards come with the tiny backspace key. I have been useing computers since you had to load the os with a 5.25 floppy disk (Yes the old apple machines we had in kindergarten and the disks were really floppy) so im used to having a bigger backspace key it keeps me from haveing to look down at the keyboard in order to get rid of all of the==== marks.

Considering that there don't seem to be a lot of smart card keyboards out there, I'm pretty happy with this one. It's feels well-built and I haven't had any problems since I've had it. In my opinion, this is a much simpler option to the separate smart card reader device, because everything is all in the same location. Also, it's harder to forget your card when sticking out of the keyboard as opposed to lying down in a card reader.

i'm in the navy and wanted a keyboard with a CAC reader on it so i don't have to search for the slot on the side of the laptops. this worked like a champ and did mot have to use or install any drivers. plugged and played perfectly.

one or two keys a little faded, keyboard still has plenty of life in it. (writing this review on it)

Works great and is heavy duty and solid plus it has a smartcard slot that that very visible so you do not forget it good deal all around.
