Do this kit work for A1998 bmw 740il ?

Hello- The BimmerFix Coolant Repair Kit works on all BMW's from 2002 to 2010 with the N62 V8 engine.

do i have to replace the water pump too ?? i have a 745li with the same problem and wonder if i just need the fix kit ....thanks

I did not need to replace my water pump. I used the repair kit on my 2002 745li and have not had any leaks at all. It really did fix the leak from the original pipe without it costing the thoisands of dollars at a shop.

does this product fit 2003 BMW x-5 4.4i ??

It seems likely with the 4.4 you have the N62, but you need to find out if you have the N62 or M62 engine. If you have the N62 then it will fit, unsure about the M62. Call a BMW dealer with your VIN # and they should be able to tell you.
