Fascinating Self Discovery Tool!
If you’re into astrology or entirely new, this book can be both a handy reference for planetary terms / intentions. Also, this is the first book I found that gets into prenatal eclipses - an area I’ll definitely be looking more into! I liked the examples and the in-depth look at the signs and houses. The book itself is a bit dated - only going up to the 1980’s for key planetary positions. Not to worry though - a quick swing over to the astro-seek website can fix that. If you’re born after the 1970’s, just type “prenatal eclipse” into the Astro-seek search bar to get your data to reference. While I agreed with many of the points in this book, some were a bit “nun uh” to me. When I was newer to Astrology, I took a lot of these predetermined descriptions at face value. Now in my practice, I focus on what resonates with my intentions. Self discovery is an ongoing ever changing journey - a single book will never describe the unique complexity that is you. However - take the insights that resonate with you, and utilize them to aid on your journey. I’ve gained a lot from this book - reading it at the perfect time in my own journey. Happy reading!

Just WOW! A must have for every astrology lover, new or old!
One of my favorite additions to an already massive collection of great books. But this one stands out! Not many cover this topic so thoroughly and thoughtfully!! I can’t tell you the amount of times I’ve referenced it and shared it with others, buying them copies!! A must have . But you can’t have MINE!

Understanding the information.
This book had so much information about how spirituality is connected with astrology which I never thought about that it like that. It made studying astrology more interesting and better to understand. Anyone who wants to see how the two are connected should get this book. Excellent read.

Moon Nodes and What They Mean--on a Grand Scale
Jan Spiller's work on moon nodes is I think the next step forward from Martin Schulman's work on karmic astrology. I loved this stuff, liked it so much that I've bought the book twice. You really don't know the depth of possibilities in a chart until you've looked at the moon nodes. Without them, you know who's walking around where, but you don't know the spirit of the person whose chart you're working on. Jan Spiller's work is very helpful if you want the depth of a chart.

Have the Original Paperback
Downloaded this version hoping the eclipse tables had been updated to post 2000 births. Nope. Leaped before I looked and now feeling ripped off. Not much changed from 1988 edition. Liked the content then. Didn't need to buy the Kindle version. :-( Updated 08/04/13: Now that it's on my Kindle account I can re-read from my phone. So, happier now. Did I say how dogeared the paper back is? Yeah. Well-used book. Still hoping for updated eclipse tables.

Wow! Amazing info!
The information provided knocked my socks off. The more I learn about astrology and secrets relating to destiny, life’s lessons etc amazes me. Jan’s writing style is very easy to follow, apply and understand. If only everyone in my orbit was as thrilled to hear all the revelations.

Immensely helpful
This book has been immensely helpful to me in re-introducing a spiritual practice into my life.Beautifully divined and cohesively communicated astrological delineations of the planets and prenatal eclipses help me to engage, connect, accept, and consciously cultivate critical aspects of my soul and destiny. No joke, this is one of the best Spiritual astrology books out there.

Amazing text for astrological advancement
I’m not going to write an in-depth book review, this isn’t audible. But if you’re looking to further your knowledge/understanding of astrological placements outside of your sun sign and how it relates to your personal growth, this is the book for you. Very easy to work through, incredible insight, well written. Highly recommend!
