Good Backup Power for Emergency Charging
I like having this case as a backup power supply for my phone. I'm using it with a Note 9 and while it does charge the phone it will not give the phone a full charge. It'll charge the phone from 10% to around 85% before it runs out of juice. Knowing that, I only use it for emergencies when I do not have any other means of charging the phone. That way I don't use up the extra charge randomly. For a battery case its not that thick, still slim enough to fit in car mount, phone stand and slips in my pocket no issue. The wireless charging feature only charges the phone. It has to be plugged in to charge the battery pack. My only complaint is it doesn't have a built in stand for watching movies/video but not a big issue for me.. Personally I think this is a worthwhile purchase.

Backup power case that's sturdy and nicely designed. Has drawbacks tb
Great sturdy case with back-up power within the case. Can't get more convenient than that.Getting your fingerprints to is hard but haven't tried it with registering your prints with case on.Provides up to 96 additional hours.Downside....the sides aren't raised so that could end badly if you drop it screen side down.Worth the money though.

For $25?!? Y'all Trippin! A Must Have!
So many gripes, I don't know what people reasonably expect here. ๐"Doesn't charge all the way"Stock battery is 4000 mah, case is 2400. Nope! Won't charge the battery full! That's just math amigos! ๐ Want a Texas-size case? They sell them! Have fun with that. The battery is modestly sized and designed to save your bacon in a pinch."Quality sucks, no warranty"I have a pair of these, one is always ready to roll. Quality is exceptionally good. Soft internal lining to protect phone. Plenty grippy. For $20, are you really going to lose your shizz if it fails? You have a damn Note 9, you'll survive financially."NFC no work, grrrr!"Works fine for me using Google Pay at every point of sale terminal tried."Hard to get on/off"This is somewhat fair, it takes some getting use to, and a bit of force to peel the top section back, grab the phone, and slide it out. Once peeled back, just keep the phone parallel to the bottom connector so it doesn't get bent. Not bad at all."Turns phone into brick!"You have a Note 9. It was already brick! If a few added ounces are harming you, I know a good personal trainer!I get the early criticism. If I had dropped a hundo on this case, I'd have probably been let down too. That was then, this is now. At $20-25, you will not get more utility out of a case. The Samsung Clear View I spent $50 on looks like crap from normal wear and tear. These cases are tanks, they protect what is now the last of the "Real" Galaxy Notes exceptionally well, and have REAL value. Forget the complainers, you'll grow to love this case if you don't immediately. If you don't, return it. I'll take yours when I need a replacement. ๐Update: After nearly a year of use, one of my cases is starting to bow out on the sides, as some have experienced. I debated docking it a star, but considering the level of use I got from it acceptable. As long as the price on these is $30 or less, they're a great companion, especially as your phone ages and its battery may no longer last the day with heavier use.Update #2 (2/'22): Time and tide come for us all. The degradation inherent in charging and draining a L-ion phone battery over and over is no different. My N9 battery after 2+ years of daily use is down from the rated 4000 ma/h to about 3250 ma/h or so, roughly a 20% loss in capacity from between 500 and 1k charge cycles. Still more than a Note 8 battery in new, factory spec, and still enough to *typically* survive a full day of use without a lot of media consumption. In my case anyway. That said, if you use your N9's beautiful 1440p AMOLED display to consume content, play games, or aren't always near the factory charger and cable for quick top-ups, you'll find this case is more indispensable than ever. Phone running low late at night? Hit one button, and your phone pops out of the 5% battery saver and heads on its way to a 50-60% charge. No bricks or cables needed.Mobile tech has hit a wall, just like laptops. I fail to see many Note 9 owners being wowed and in awe of anything being sold now, often at a grand or more. 5G?!? Please. If you have good 5G service, your LTE probably flies along nicely as mine does. At some point it will deliver what the big 3 carriers promise.Battery degredation is the one thing selling new expensive phones more than anything. And for $40 for a pair of these cases, you can make that irrelevant. Buy this case, rotate out with a 2nd, get a new one every year as long as you can, and use your N9 as long as it is alive to serve you. Keep it away from keys, and nice and dry. Keep it off the ground and out of the sky unless on a plane or in a tall building. Bad day? Don't be THAT guy or gal that beats their phone like it owes them money, since THAT is just DUMB AF. ๐ I already suffered through hiding all of these dumb, duplicate Samsung apps, and the horror show known as making Bixby disappear. By the time I was done, Bixby thought it owed ME money. ๐คฃ No need to update, year 3 of Note 9 is off to the races. No need for their new flip phone, or folding lawn chair phone. Keep your Note juiced, cased, and screen side up, and it will be cocked, locked, and ready to rock whenever you need it!Thanks Mophie for overpricing your case, OceansideSales for hooking us up, and Sammysung for making a flagship that (Mostly) just keeps giving while demanding none of the stress of an aging low-capacity battery! Y'all hear me, 'cause we've all been there!Notes up, Mophs up, taking lickings and still tickings! Yessir! New year, same conclusion. These cases are great. You either have one, or need one. No debate needed, the pleistocene-era lizard chilling in your amygdala knows this is a GREAT case at a great price, and should be pressing the "Buy" button around now without your intervention. ๐คฃ๐N9 Crew represent! Cheers everyone! ๐บ๐บ๐บ

Good for extra battery when you need it.
I use this case on my phone to help with twitch drops when they happen, but sometimes I just need a bit of extra battery because of heavy usage. Does the trick nicely.

Good battery, poor design
Opting not to replace my Note 9 which battery life has diminished (86%), I chose this battery case. The case gives me about a 40% bump in charge, which was great. That said, after about 9 months, the case began to fall apart. As you can see from the photo (others have mentioned), the rubber casing starts to break away from the case. Overall it does it's job, but will now have to buy a new one (different brand).

Gives the bump in power without adding too much bulk
I wanted to find a supplemental battery that could give about 50% more battery during the day but that didn't add too much bulk. This one does add an expected but reasonable amount of bulk to the phone but it is still slim enough and light enough to have as a daily driver. It charges the phone about 45% and will easily get me through the day with heavy navigation and screen usage. I am really happy with this buy.
