Pack of 3 x Honeywell IS312B Pet Tolerant Passive Infrared (PIR) Motion Detectors

Purchased to replace IS215TCE - in my living room I have 2 and 1 was faulty. Being unsure I bit the bullet and replaced both (highly likely the other would become faulty if it wasn’t already) and replaced them both within the hour.The tamper designs/switches are different between the two and you cannot simply swap the main board from one to the other - a full replacement is needed.Good news is, the terminals almost the same and easy to swap over, with the exception the old board has labelled both Tamper terminals T & T and the new board is labelled T1 & T2. Although this doesn’t makes real world difference, I used T2 with the Yellow Tamper wire.Another minor difference I noticed the screw holes are positioned differently between the two designs. The older design has the screw holes closer together and the new ones are further apart - in the end I just used one to secure to the corner of the walls.Like others, take pictures of the old wiring and copy to the new board.

Well manufactured, easy to install and work well on my system, instructions need to contain more information

Units are neat, tidy and function almost as good as their spec.Range is a little down on what is claimed but still works well.They have a jumper to turn off the red led which sits behind the lens but no matter how you set it the led stays active, hence 4 stars rather than 5

The item arrived on time and as described, I bought these to replace very old ones which had began to act up. They were very easy to install, however as previous reviews have stated the wiring instructions are minimal although the wiring was exactly the same as the older ones I replaced so this wasn't an issue.Would definitely buy again if and when needed.

Does the job designed for

Ordered these to replace some old sensors on the alarm system.Installation fairly easy, had changed 3 in less than an hour but the problem came when we set the alarm.Usually omit the zone where the cat sleeps at night as the old sensors were not pet immune, replaced with these as advertised as pet immune.Set the full system and put the cat in the room she normally sleeps and she’d triggered it in just a few minutes and she is a tiny cat weighing about 2kg.They are not triggered by them walking around as such but more when they jump up on things and as cats/animals like to jump then they’re not really pet immune.

I need to replace some 15 year old sensors with some new pet friendly models.These worked perfect with no issues.My only gripe would be the instructions are so small you need a microscope to read them.

Good replacement detectors. One old detector was causing false alarms and used these to replace.
