Standards are slipping
I've had this product from this vendor a couple of times and been really impressed. The quality of the jamon has been exceptional and was a delight to eat. 50p a slice is a bargain when this is good stuff.ButThis last batch was a sad reflection. Picture shows the comparison between what I ordered.The jamon was half fat and just looked old and tired.

Impressed by quick delivery. Unfortunately, my dentures failed to manage the texture of this product - I'm 85. It has a good enough taste but requires a lot of chewing. Too much really. I bought it to use in a recipe for wrapping around asparagus then in a pancake smothered in Hollandaise. I ought to have used Yorkshire boiled ham cut thinly. Terribly disappointed. Not to my liking sadly.

Not Good! Quality has declined with Black Hoof products I read other state the same
Item arrived looking brown and tired like raw pork not cured pork, I find normally curred hams stay redish in colour even when taken from packaging the colour remains this is browny/grey and the fat is not white it is also grey. I dont believe this meat is fully curred. Judging on the joing we also returned which was a crag end size of a porl fillet not a joint this company is supplying any old cut I think releasing hams to earlier to supply demands at Xmas. Shocking quality management
