If you never tried this spice this is the one I would recommend. I bought a second one. This brand is better then the otherOne or two I tried. I have a very high opinion Harissa Because I am not Much better than average as a cook And certainly not a great chef Yet it adds something special. Sometimes I use it to make Savory biscuits and then I put strawberry jam on them with butter.

I recomend this spice a friend had bought this for me the first time I used it .. am trying this exotic Flavor it's great on my meat ..where I am from we love chines flavors this is a great tasting spice blend.. should be tried by all home cooks looking for new flavores.

Wow. First time I tried Berbere was a quick marinade rub of olive oil, spice, salt & pepper on chicken breast. Butterflied on cast-iron skillet served with simple salad. Incredible. Loved it on shrimp tacos w/ mango salsa. And finally the true test was serving it for Thanksgiving sprinkled on deviled eggs in place of paprika.This stuff is amazing. Reminiscent of flavors you know but presented in a complex mix that can adapt to all types of dishes. Smokey, spicy and an almost sweet kick in the pants.

No issue with the product. It is delicious. Just frustrated at how long it took to get here. Order well before you need it.

Got a recipe off of Youtube via "Tish Wonder" wanting to switch up my diet, so she uses Egyptian Dukka in this recipe for breakfast baked eggs, a shaksuka of sorts, instead of the spicy tomatoes and harrisa, she used any variety or mix of mushrooms, with shallots, garlic, dukka, spinach and fresh eggs placed in the well of mushroom and spinach mixture. Then place them in a preheated 350° oven for 3 mins to set. The dukka adds such depth of flavor and gives this dish a meaty flavor without the meat. You'll enjoy adding it to everything, salads, soups and I have another breakfast dish I add it to, it's a potatoes and zucchini hash with sweet red peppers, red onions and garlic 1 Tbsp dukka spice with 1/2 tsp smoked paprika, Wow fantastic. After using most offerings, we find the tastes to be true to those experienced on our travels.

Some of the spices in the 6 pack are supposed to be gluten free but their not truly gluten free if their made and packaged in facility that makes gluten products as well. It definitely flared up my wife’s celiac’s disease.

I use this for everything, meats, eggs, chicken and other uses. Try it. Great!
