Recruitment: A Dystopian Novel (The Resistance Trilogy)

Excellent! I was looking for something to tied me over until the next hunger games comes out and this book is it! Loved it! The story is intriguing and unique. The characters are great. The whole experience of reading this book was top notch! Off to read the next book,Highly recommend to fans of dystopian stories that are well developed and unique. If you like Hunger Games you’ll like this book. It’s very different but has the same dystopian undercurrent.

It took me awhile to get into the story, but once I was in I had to keep going! I coordinated the audible with the kindle version so I could continue the story while driving out of town because I wanted to know what happened next after each chapter!

First book of 2025 and I’m enthralled! The twist at the end CRAZY! I can’t wait to read the next book. I love the little bits of love story in here and the big emphasis on found family.

I almost gave up on this book in the first couple of pages. The writing is choppy and there are several spelling and grammatical errors. I stuck it out and I’m glad that I did. It’s a good story, though definitely rushed at the end. Parts of the story were never fully developed, but it was an engaging read nonetheless. This book won’t be winning awards any time soon, but it’s an interesting premise. I look forward to reading the next book.

Good character development and well written. I knew a plot twist would come, but I didn't anticipate the direction it went. Fun read. Glad there are more books to follow the characters and see what develops.

over all the story had no plot, u don't know who the bad guys are, and two thirds into the book literally NOTHING has happened. Also the way the book written I did not care at ALL about the people in the book, which is kinda a deal breaker for me, I HAVE to genuinely like the main character for me to get into a book.

The first book was really good. I finished it in 48 hours. I like the characters a lot and the concept is appealing. I will definitely check out the next book in the series.

It’s a young adult, science fiction novel that you will like if you were a fan of The Hunger Games and Maze Runner.
