I was actually impressed how well made these tools are. The phaser locker bolted on perfectly and the crankshaft alignment tool aligned my timing dot at exactly 6 o'clock. I didn't think I would end up using the cheese wedge for my timing job but I'm glad I paid for this complete set over others as I ended up needing the cheese wedge after I installed something wrong. It save me hours of disassembly and reassembly.

I bought this kit because I had to change out the rocker arms on the passanger side.The wedge is very strong! I jammed it super deep and then when putting on the phaser bolt I managed to jamm it further in... it was super hard to pull out. That was my mistake. I used vice grips and pulled on it with all my strength. I ended up rotating the engine counter clock wise and yanking on the wedge super hard... it finally came out. It did not break, the metal handle was deformed but held together and the wedge was still firmly attached to it. I was super impressed. A good quality wedge.

I'm a mechanic by trade and got tired of doing the 5.4 liter Ford timing chains with the holding fixture. These as intended and much cheaper than name brands, would be excellent for the guy wanting to do his own chains and phasers at home.
