Fortnum and Mason Black Tea with Vanilla 15 Silky Tea Bags 30g (1 Pack)

The tea is slightly sweet and smells amazing. I love the addition of the vanilla. Makes a tasty cup of tea.

Cornstarch teabags (plant-based, I assume without plasticized sealants) greatly appreciated. Fortnum and Mason makes some great teas, but they tend to be expensive here in the states (and can cost a fortune to have shipped if you order directly). I prefer my teas strong, rich, dark . . . before I add milk--and this Black Tea with Vanilla is light and on the subtle side. I tried adding two bags in about 205F degrees in 7oz of water, then steep for about 15minutes--but it's still on the subtle, light side. The box I rec'd is recently manufactured, with a best-by date about two years out (NICE)! The box was mildly/moderately crushed somewhere along the way here.A lovely quality tea, but a lighter cup of tea than my personal preference dictates. I think that lightness is consistent with English preference tea style and my limited experience with Fortnum and Mason teas.I loved my TAZO English Breakfast AWAKE teabag steeped with Harney & Sons decaf Vanilla Comodoro sachet for years, but I'm probably made out of microplastic at this point. Trying various looseleaf to detox a BIG bit and tired of cutting open plastic teabags to steep in a filter! that needs to be cleaned each time!

This is a good tasting tea but the tea bags break open every time
